two posts in one day!! woohooo!
y'all this weekend was great because bee came to visit, but it did not help me in my training.
unfortunately, i skipped my weekend runs due to time, but tuesday i ran 2 miles. i have to say, it was kind of tough, but i finished in about 32 minutes. i think that my form is improving, and i am trying my best to keep that up as well as keeping focus on my breathing. i got on the scale yesterday, and i thought for sure i would be up, but i was actually down .8 lbs (not much, but i was very happy with no gain!). my goal for this week is to actually train through the weekend, even though jl is here. we might even get him running as well since he's training for the 10 miler as well. my veggies of this week are cucumber and red peppers - y'all, the eating has helped me not gain as well. i think slowly but surely the scale will start going down!
thanks for the support, and i hope you all got in some runs this week too!!
Congrats on NO GAINS! Thank you for your tip on flying with champange :) Are you training for a marathon? and if so which one? Good luck on your training! :) Ry
ReplyDeletei have soooo slacked on my running!! i was supposed to go last night, but i was so exhausted (and starving!) after work that i copped out. then i was supposed to go this morning.. and.. um.. that didn't happen either. maybe tomorrow??? :-)
ReplyDeletethanks ryan!
ReplyDeletei'm training to run a 5k - tryin' to start off slow and then next year run a 10 miler or 1/2 marathon!
i hope alice can run it w/ me!!
alice - somedays are off days, some you are so on for running, don't let it deter you!!
Awesome effort! I've been running when I can, still haven't gone past 35 minutes yet (due to missed runs and laziness lol) but I'll get to 40 next week. only prob is that i hurt my adductor muscle (inner thigh) everytime I run now and only in the left leg. Me thinks I may need physio and help on my running form...
